The Punchbowl Inn featured in the Channel Four series starring Peter Kay and Patrick McGuiness "Max & Paddys Road to Nowhere". Our pub was filmed in episode 5 in which Paddy & Max acquired a Pig! They tried to sell it at Claughton Market (2 miles down the road).
